Lisa Helker :: Designer :: Illustrator :: Watercolorist

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Designer / Illustrator / Watercolorist

The Puget Sound area and the beautiful northwest inspire Lisa to make its scenery and its maritime industry her subject matter. Her detailed watercolors depict the rugged character of waterfront and forest. Lisa has portrayed the local scenery where ever she has lived, throughout the U.S., and in the Persian Gulf, and her paintings have featured a wide variety of subjects. However, none have been as rewarding to her artistic spirit as those drawn from her current home.

Lisa was raised in Wisconsin and earned her degree in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where she specialized in printmaking. Lisa turned to illustration and graphics for employment and operated her own small commercial design studio through several of her husband’s job transfers. She expanded her business to include watercolors, and now provides both digital design, analog art paintings, and prints to her clients.
